Shared Confessions

Please relate to me that intimate obsession
where precious thoughts become memories
as they then split off into secrets tangential
into alleyways of moments and imagination
thereby purpose quickly finds them a name
they are new stories that cry from the heart
where they captivate empathy and surprise
in the cool magic of kisses stolen in the dark

spill then the ink of your dearest confessions
those meaningful words arisen from your heart
that reveal where we go in the sweet midnight
where we find comfort in one another’s refrain
the symmetry of our dreams meet our desires
evenly paced within the beating of our hearts
here our two souls pace a ground of tranquility
and find the treasure hidden behind our eyes

drink wholly from the waters of my imagination
to thirst no more from the edge of another well
as the satiation of desire swells to impatience
for the hour of dreams where we quickly unite
and therefore we awaken in each others arms
wrapped within the soft contours of our bodies
as the loosening grip of the constellations rise
nestled warm in the light of encroaching dawn

You unravel such a beautiful blending on the ethereal level and it seems becoming lovers, at least in fantasy, is inevitable and natural.

I DON'T KNOW, AMOR. I FEEL THAT AT LEAST HALF OF A FANTASY'S VALUE ...AND BEAUTY...IS THE 'SECRET' OF IT. TO REVEAL IT WOULD BE LOSING SO MUCH OF IT...DON'T YOU THINK? BUT THEN AGAIN THAT WOULD DEPEND ON...THE TWO DREAMERS. WELL DONE, AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

to me this stanza is a perfect summation of soulmate love, Amor, starting with that spilled "ink of your dearest confessions" which goes on to locate "the treasure hidden behind our eyes"; here ensues such deep peacefulness and contentment, through the "symmetry of dreams", the "desires evenly paced" leading to the "ground of tranquillity" which sounds like Heaven itself: to be forever wrapped in the arms of the one that we truly love. To reside in open-hearted lightness instead of the tippy-toeing dark would indeed be bliss. xx

A very mystical and meaningful place where two lovers share their most intimate memories and dreams. Superbly written with the precision not often seen in love poetry.

"...spill then the ink of your dearest confessions..."

i'm eavesdropping here on an open heart
and the risk it is and the courage it takes
to speak out; this is splendid, Amor, splendid

in admiration

To trust another with your deepest, maybe darkest confession(s) is a fearful, but sometimes necessary thing to rid yourself of. To come to someone and bare all is the greatest test of friendship/and or/love.
