I thought you would always be invincible.

I thought you would be unbreakable

until the cancer took you away from me.

You left me without a goodbye.

It broke my heart when you passed away.

I feel so lost without you here.

I know that you are smiling down on me.

It's hard to say goodbye to you but

I know you have gone to heaven to walk with Jesus.

So spread your wings and fly away to

the place where there isn't any pain!

I know that you are always around me

but its hard to realize that you are gone.

I finally accepted the fact that you were gone,

just to find out that you are

the sun

that shines through the clouds down on my face.

your presence is always around me

when the wind blows around me.

I will always cherish our memories in my heart and soul.

I'm finally ready to let go...
