 Inside the pale reflections,

             inside this darkest night,

across an endless sorrow,

             where lies my heart tonight.

So little time remained here,

              as hours slipped away,

your face would fade to memory,

no words were left to say.

And how it all means nothing,

when once it was so clear,

that  love was all that mattered,

              too swift... the mirror shattered.
