Wondering about
What it will be like when I run out
Of time then I rhyme

Living under this life sentence of
Death if you will with only my love
To show for my time

Bittersweet stories
Of glittering but fleeting glories
More of these than I will ever need

So I write you read

That you might avoid my mistakes then
Know what it takes when
The wheel turns so you can hang on still
