This is for my mother in law who died yesterday. She was more a mother than a Mother in law. I will miss her scolding; She would say "Oh Scotty" to let me know she didn't approve of something.

 You are a light now;

                            you always have been.

Your daughters thrust their swords of hate into your heart;

                           but you refused to be infected.

You loved with everything that you had.

                           though  the swords were not deflected

Your heart grew tired and scarred.

                          Change of plans you said.

Now you are at peace;

                           They cannot thrust their swords. anymore.

Your death is my loss mom;

                             but your life is your gift to me.

A wonderful tribute to a woman you dearly loved. So sorry to hear that her children did not appreciate that she brought them into the world and raised them that she could.

My sincerest sympathies, Scott. I won't waste space on platitudes. I know you'll miss her. Well spoken euelogy.
