“For nary a thing upon heaven ere earth can remove that of the angel wings once ye are embraced with love” ~Lily of Lough Neagh~ Dedicated to a gentle sweet soul

 His Whisper

I’m your whisper on the wind
Close yer tired eyes and see
Feel the warmth I send within
Green eyes doth give to thee

I softly brush your cheek ere soft
Not weathered yet with time
With fingertips I trace your lips
You know I’ve touched your mind

Scents within your soul are felt
Sweet fragrance of lilac mist
Now raise yer hand and place to heart
For tender embrace I give

For I did hear you call to me
You beckoned that I come
Oh gentle soul that where you sat
And pondered in the sun

My presence held is ever near
Feel softness close to thee
Let nary ache behold yer soul
For I have set you free

Hear this lass as she doth laugh
A smile that you doth give
Warmth so shared for you to know
A place for thee will live

For know we not the tides of time
 Ere what the future brings
But open yer eyes sweet gentle man
Now embraced by my gentle wings

I think the intended recipient of such sentiments is very fortunate... ...makes me wonder what has come of it all. Thank you for sharing, Carol. Love and best wishes,

Such a tender loving poem from the heart and soul. You are embracing the moment, releasing the past and soaring toward the future. Glad to be back and reading such amazing poetry again.

Much peace, love and light,

What stands forth for me in this writing is, "For I have set you free" Even the sound of being 'set free' feels like a universe in an open hand. Thank you. ~~ Diana

It's not only nice to have such an Angel but it must give a fantastic feeling to be that Angel as well. Sitting beside a friend who needs your ear, your shoulder or your hand. Relieving his pain and help him through his loneliness.

A beautiful expression of friendship Carolee, we all need sometimes an Angel

Very lovely peom, a calm embracing love that all should feel at one time in their lives.
For I hear not with me ears, but me senses. To welcome soft voice of angel unto me heart. Reside within me soul and wrap me within thy eternally loving wings.

Stay well and keep writing
