After the day's done, I shall prepare for an evening spent gazing at the stars & into his eyes...

Primrose greets the evening stars/

crickets perform on their guitars/

Fluted candles flicker, so bright/

beautifully reflective/

opalescent light/

lilies dispense their aroma, sweet/

the day is gone, my mind's replete/

with visions of a place in time/

Where there is only you and I/

Primrose greets the evening stars/

crickets perform on their guitars/

and I at once must take my seat/

cause thoughts of you have made me weak
