Feeling the presence of Angels |
|
There's an Angel
There's an angel watching over us,
As we go across life's bridge,
Ever present when danger comes,
Wings protecting from the edge.
Casting cares upon life's rivers,
All our worries gone with the tide,
As we trust them to our Father,
With his angels by our side.
Heavenly wings guide us on our way,
Though the path is hard to choose,
There's an angel watching over us,
Trust God's helpers, you won't loose.

I completely agree, Teresa. I don't know where I'd be today if angels had not stepped in and saved me (even from myself) on so many occasions along my "journey" thus far. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

It is comforting to know that we are not alone. I am grateful for those angels who watch over me, and even more so for those who watch over my children when I cannot be with them.

They are forever around us Teresa :) As are our guardians and guides. They never forsake us at any time and they know the path we must choose and the ones we must walk. Some easy some rough.
Lovely write

Angels, God's messengers. People identify angels falsely many times. For instance, babies who die do not turn into angels. Angels are very different from humans. I know we call babies and even adults, "ANGELS" when they are precious to us, and that's okay...it's just a way of saying they are wonderful and special.
Others think they have angels for "guides." There is no biblical evidence of this, and they may be looking in a direction that's entirely wrong for their strength. We are warned in the Bible not to worship angels.
I think you've done well with this poem about angels. By the way, I want a strong, capable angel to be my guardian, not a wimpy, sissy one! (I'll put my own angel poem farther up on my poem list so you can see what I mean).
It's comforting to know that God assigns angels to watch over us, and you've brought that out in a wonderful way!
