Zip It

Written 100 percent in fun. Sorry to disappoint, but it's all fiction.

Zip It

When I was young and life was fun
My thoughts were wild and free
I thought of joys
And silly toys
And things meant just for me.

One day I found my thoughts were bound
To turn to you and bliss
And to your hips
And to your lips
And other things to kiss.

We met we saw we had it all
Our love was hot and rough
Insanely free
Just you and me
We could not get enough.

The things we started were all uncharted
On a turbulent choppy ocean
Just how our boat
Remained afloat
Defied the laws of motion.

And then one day in early May
My thoughts began to stray
A lassie fair
With assets rare
Displayed them all my way.

My heart was smitten by this young kitten
She beckoned soft and furry
My brain unthinking
My eyes unblinking
Were blinded wet and blurry.

I couldn’t say not to this day
Precisely what we did
All parts were smokin’
And I’m not jokin’
I nearly blew my lid.

One mighty swing from my sweet thing
A ball bat smacked my head
It knocked me down
Upon the ground
I fell like I was dead.

A sadder wiser man I am
Though many teeth are missing
Cut down to size
With blackened eyes
And lips too fat for kissing.

Now old and gray I’m here to say
I’ve had my flippers cllipped
I lost it all
To one sweet doll
Shoulda kept my zippers zipped.

Ron, are you suggesting that word-play beats fore-play? Sacre bleu!

I do like the nuance in this–getting one's comeuppance. However it's always dangerous to court laisséz-faire, don't you think?
