Cuddled in your mother’s warm embrace, And reaching still with such loving grace. The golden hue upon your crown, Not meant to be set aside Nor put down. Cherished your angelic presence Meant to sit beside her night-time head The last precious picture a set of eyes should see While curled up in her down padded bed. Sheets of comfort Waiting to be met On the other side Of peaceful sleep.
