Wrap Me Up by Erica Ivory Monday, December 02, 2002 Share Print Save Become a Fan Wrap me up.. Don't let me down.. Don't you know your the one I've been waiting around for.. Call it freedom I don't care.. Call it control.. Say it's not fair. I am not going to watch all my sunny days go gray.. Just to prove that I can walk away. So wrap me up.. Don't let me down.. Don't you know your the one I've been waiting around for. I may be a fool to think that.. happy endings happen to people like me.. But my soul is burning out.. I am so tired of being free.. So laugh now .. Tonight you will be cold and alone.. I will be with the one I love.. I hope your independence keeps you warm.. So wrap me up .. Don't let me down.. Don't you know your the one I've been waiting around for.
I wrote this as a song...for a special friend.. you know who you are.
