If I could
I'd dive beneath the ocean blue
Explore the depths as dolphins do.
And look for treasures hidden there
Of gold and pearls and gems so rare.

If I could
I'd fly across the sun-lit skies
And see the world through sparrow's eyes.
I'd travel far to distant shores
To castles, lakes and heather moors.

If I could
I'd spend one precious night with you
And write our song as lovers do.
And hold you till the morning's light
With dreams to last a thousand nights.

If I could......
