whispers in the trees (wait)

wait, I'm shivering, wait, I'm jolted,
watching the trees sway,
silent music fills my mind,
dazed eyes are staring,
some other sense is twitching,
white rabbit before a storm,
wait, I'm waiting, tell, I'm gasping,

will I sit here watching the trees sway,
I may never move, its hard to say,
one touch brings joy, palms against glass,
pressed against the window,
I can watch but I can't touch,
wait, will you come for me?
wait, will you wait for me?
say, when will you say to me,
that you'll wait for me,
stay for me...

shall I follow in the path,
can I trust you to find me,
can I trust you to bring me back,
mind reeling, vision spinning,
whirlpool disguised by serene waters,
one for the fire
one has the stars,
should I follow where you lead,
knowing I'm without you, I'm starting to bleed...
