A Drag by Robert Scott Brown Tuesday, June 17, 2003 Share Print Save Become a Fan I wrote this 28 years ago, and really don't know what possessed me to write it!
He dragged me by my slender neck I could not call or scream And took me to this dingy room Where we could not be seen He tore away my flimsy wrap And gazed upon my form I was cold and damp and scared While he was nice and warm His parched lips he pressed to me I gave him every drop He drained me of my very self I could not make him stop This made me what I am today That's why you find me here I'm a broken bottle , thrown away That once was filled with beer
