Willow

A lonely willow stood in the middle of a forest,

It cried boldly for it had not a single friend,

The cool rain fell down upon the dark wilting flowers,

And the dry dead leaves marked the lonely willow's end.

This poem was written for a high school english class and was included in an anthology given to First Lady Hillary Clinton from the National Poetry Society in 1998.

Correct me if im wrong is hillary the wilted flower or the willow?
I would think she is the bark, where the dogs howl
but then this is just my opinion
just needed a little clarification with all these dangling metaphors!
But Hey I was never a fan in the first place
For creativity and form
I give this 10 cheers
