A fantasy party about emotions and conditions.

Life Gave A Party

Life gave a party and invited all the emotions and conditions to come. The first guests to arrive were Laughter, Joy and Excitement. They quickly filled the hall with their happy vibrations and were soon joined by Love, Hope and Enthusiasm. They were all zealous in their dancing and merry making.

The party was going full blast when in come Disparity, Envy and Procrastination. They stood around sneering, moaning and groaning. They were absorbed in their sad state of emotions, which attracted Doubt, Self Pity and Gloom to join their group.

Possibility made a dramatic entrance, dazzling in his dress and manner! He danced again and again with Compassion and she fell completely and hopelessly in love with him. Compassion clung to Possibility, enchanted by their dance of exuberance, while Hope and Encouragement smiled as they watched them closely.

Confidence beseeched Envy, to "lighten up, have a little fun!" Jealousy, Negativity, Confusion and Disparity began to argue amongst themselves and were soon engaged in a brawl. At this point, the other guests had had enough and they threw the fighting group out!

Opportunity sensed that he was being watched and he turned and met Expectancy's intense gaze. Intrigued, he introduced himself. Immediately, they both knew that they would become eternal friends. Soon they became excitedly engrossed in planning details of quest and fulfillment.

The party went on with Love, Happiness and others, all enjoying each other! Finally, Passion took Life in its arms and they danced the whole night through, as all the other guests approvingly cheered and applauded their awesome partnership!
