From Volume 2 of the Series Seeds Of Hope " Don't cry my brother, it won't hurt long, " Be encouraged as you read!
A little girl was visiting the home of her God parents, and while there her God brother was being disciplined. Afterward he cried so much, that the little girl said to him, " Don't cry my brother, it won't hurt long, " it's just a temporary condition. This experience is like an expectant woman, who is about to give birth to her unborn child, and is in so much pain and anguish. Yet her condition is only temporary, because at the sight of her baby, pain, gives way to joy.
In your walk with God, you will encounter much hardships and trials. Experiencing very low periods in your life, you may even find yourself wondering aimlessly in the dry deserted wilderness, without a clue as to what is happening to you. Without the knowledge that the pain you bear is temporary. You may become impatient, angry and bitter, experiencing weariness of the trials and temptations of life. Just as you are about to give up and yield yurself to that temptation, the word of God speaks to you from Job 14:14 saying " All the days of my appointed time I will wait, till my change come. " The word then reminds you of what 2 Peter 3:8 says " But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. " Abba Father then reminds you that there is a season for everthing, and it is absolutely neccessary for you to go through the storms. By experiencing the dry seasons of your life, you will grow with the understanding that these conditions are only temporary.
I encourage you to continue to be faithful and obedient to the call of God, especially during the turbulent times of your life. Be diligent in prayer and in fasting, and with diligence, keep bitterness and unforgiveness out of your heart. Continue on walking to your destiny, with a pure and a compassionate heart. May your Abba Father impart to you His enduring Agape love, and compassion to withstand the temporary conditions of life.
