Obama is the vehicle. Indiana and small town America, it's up to us to help create that change.
Word is simply this: Obama. Barack. The MAN.
It was SO nice to see so many of our YTB partners in line, waving and smiling. Everything that YTB is trying to do can be directly in line with what we feel (and this is our opinion) Barack Obama is wanting to do. Business and politics are separate, but when it comes to common sense, there is no separation.
Whatever you call him or however you refer to him. The man makes sense. Don't believe ANYTHING that Sean Hannity says on Fox News about small town America and Obama. Hannity took EVERYTHING out of context.
Obama is talking about REVIVING small town America, teachers, families. He is not divisive....the FOX NEWS and NEW YORK TIMES are divisive.
Divided we do not stand a chance. If Barack is in your town it is WORTH the wait standing in line. But what Kenny & I loved best about it is that the elderly, the people with small children and infants were treated like VIPs and were escorted directly into the building. The TAS (security--as in home land) were very respectful. The secret service people were not intimidating. There were plain clothes security all around.
The biggest difference between Barack and Hillary, and vote however you choose, is this:
Barack brings people together and knows how to disagree WITHOUT BEING DISAGREEABLE! And he knows what it's like to work personally helping families who have been kicked out of their jobs while the CEOs of those jobs got big fat millions of dollars of bonuses for sending jobs overseas.
We're proud to wear our NOT MADE IN CHINA BUT BY AMERICAN UNION WORKERS Obama buttons. Our mind in made up. Seeing and hearing Barack in person was all we, and about 3,000 plus other people who waited in the cold for couple of hours needed.
Sorry Hillary...as much as I appreciate your role as a strong woman, a strong woman can't cut it when it comes to dealing with bull headed international male leaders. You just don't have the qualifications of being a fresh mind who has not be "polygamized" by by a cult of Washington lobbyists and PAC committees AND you still don't have a plan to find and eradicate Osama Bin Ladin. Hillary, you think about the American people but this voters opinion is you think too much about yourself when push comes to shove, or else you WOULD be supporting Barack to help clean up the huge mess that NO WOMAN needs to be stuck with--that's a cleaning job I wouldn't wish on any woman.
Barack has to go in swinging and we don't want you to miss the target--reversing Bush's policies. Why in the world would you, Hillary--and this is personal, that Vice President Cheney only met with environmental/conservationist committees one time; with agricultural/educational committees one time, but with oil committees over 40 times? Why would you not say that the money spent going to Iraq ($40 million every 24 hours that passes) could be used to fund all the programs that were cut because jobs left American shores? Why would you take money from drug companies who want to STOP health care wellness packages for Americans while at the same time not coming out with both barrels and a couple of cannons about how they for decades only wanted to take care of themselves, putting expensive commercials on television with skip-to-my-lou" songs like "VE-VAAAAAAH VY-AGRA!" and cartoon butterflies and birdies flying around promoting mental health drugs when all the nation needs for mental health is to get the heck out of Iraq? The target was Afghanistan, not Iraq. Now terrorist are in Pakistan and Bin Ladin is probably sitting next to his homies at the IHOP ordering a multi-grain short stack to top it all off with a chocolate shake.
Indiana, it's up to you and I to make it right. We're at the end of our rope and it's unraveling fast. We don't need another president to further unravel what needs to be woven back together.
May God bless our next first family...Michelle and Barack Obama.
The Reed family. Ken & Cynth'ya supporting the right to be all we were designed to be as a nation, together and not divided.
We know that www.steps2ytbsuccess.info mentions about the health insurance our candidates are trying to do...YTB has already accomplished it for everyone who wants that option in a very affordable, tax deductible way. God bless all who strive to make their honest businesses of any and all kinds work for the good of the future.)
P.S. Whomever the candidate happens to be for the Democratic party, THIS independent prays that we don't stay and occupy Iraq to baby sit their politics another 100 years. That's just a kinder, gentler same old politics as usual. The world around us is watching to see just how smart, or how dumb, the American voters are and what they are going to do.

| The world has already seen how dumb voters have been. As a result, they forgot how SMART voters can be whenever they are more sober. I know how K feels: It's now become hard to trust anyone! Gore maybe? Would he repeat? Frankly, none of the 3 candidates truly excites anyone, it seems. But I know you're excited about Mr. O and that is as you should be if he's your choice. So many voters still haven't decided. At least there is a lot of interest! Hope this makes sense. |

| Everyone has the right to their own opinion. In our great nation, it is guaranteed. Don't believe Obama is innocent of tremendous sums of foreign and big business PAC money. He is simply another politician that spins the facts in a way that best suites his cause. Where is the great poetry I'm waiting for dear lady? Jon Michael Willey |

You have your right to vote for whomever you so choose, but I just don't trust Obama. Never have, never will. Just my feelings.
Still, a very good write; brava!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
I don't know WHOM to trust; there's no clear choice I would choose! |

Cynth'ya,
Still weighing my options - paying very close attention to all the candidates. But you're right - the media is portraying all of them in judgemental colors, based on conjecture and rumor. Time to get to the truth of the matter.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |

Remember, the role of American News is to plug the minds of the people with what THEY want you to believe. Until we have heard, read and seen unedited information straight from the source, until you can look into the eyes of someone and know they mean business, not just trying to get their spouse back in the white house....then don't turn around and talk about being "elite"....let's talk about rich candidates who are millionaires who call in favors. God bless the REAL America that is NOT depicted in the American News media, but at town hall meetings where people are allowed a real voice, not an edited-left-on-the-cutting room-floor-voice.
blessin's, right is right, and a lie is a lie...always will be and they lied on Jesus too, "they" were called Pharisees, today we call them Fox News and the New York Times.)
