As the white glistening snowflakes fall, my eyes do behold the bread of heaven falling as manna in the wilderness.
"White, White, Bread of Heaven"
As I awoke, I found myself moved in spirit. My eyes did behold the beauty of the glistening white snow as it lay softly on the ground. I watched the white, white snowflakes fall gently downward as they fell out of the sky. I found myself affixed to this vision so pure and white, so glistening, so pure as it fell before my eyes. I am moved with deep devotion in prayer to the creator of this vision so lovely. What did my eyes behold? Pure, so pure as the snowflakes fell before my sight. I found myself in deep thought. I remembered the story in the Bible about the bread of heaven that fell in the wilderness. A sustaining, nurturing, sweet honey flavored manna that God gave to His people. In desperation crying out to the Father, his people cried out, We have no food to eat. Never has God failed His people. As I watched the snowflakes fall so gently, I thought of Gods provisional bread of heaven. The snowflakes are so beautiful. In the coldness of winter, I find myself comparing the glistening snowflakes to the bread of heaven falling gently in the heat of the wilderness. Lord that I may taste of the sweetness of the bread of heaven. That I might remember the bread of heaven that fed your children in the wilderness. I am moved in spirit to give praise to You, and worship You as my Lord. May I always trust in you for provision? I pray for an anointing on my life to serve You, as my Lord. Truly you are present in the glistening, white snowflakes that fall this day. You are the Bread of Life, the sustaining manna that falls this day. It is that I desire to be either hot or cold for You, Oh Lord. Lest You spew me out of Your mouth! Lord, You are truly the Bread of Heaven.
