My short story Misfortune Smiles Too appears in Chimeraworld 3. Now available from Chimericana Books.
From editor Mike Philbin:
"Yeah, it's true , Chimeraworld #3 can be used to gain your inheritance early. Just leave it lying around. Oops, granny picks up the book, settles down in her comfy armchair, opens the glossy cover of Chimeraworld #3. Heart-stopping fiction. Literally, euthenasia fiction."

I recognize qa few of the names because I worked with them on a number of my own publications, I can tell you right now for those who are just checking out this page. Keep an eye on Liam Davies because he's one scary bastard when it comes to writing horror, seeing him write "A Place Of Teeth and Tongue" is what forshadows what things to come with him. Joshua Scriber and Kevin James Miller are also allumni from LAKE FOSSIL PRESS' roster, seeing what Kevin was able to do on the Halloween Cyberpulp anthology can tell you a little bit what he's able to do -- both are about extremes, they can scare with one extreme then another.
I had the distinct honor of publishing a story by David Tamarin too -- and yes he's one sick individual. This will be a strong anthology and I can tell from the authors Philbin's published, congrats on making the second one. Liam Davies was one of the scariest authors on TABLOID PURPOSES II along with Macey Wuesthoff, but I am wondering what he's really capable of doing. He's got a shark story out too which I am waiting for the release of that one. |
