| Very meaningful story that most any one can relate to, but etched in the mystery and majesty of Africa. A true love story most likely unmatched by most that deserves to be told. Good luck with it, R |

| Very nice job of summarizing a man's unending love for his woman in only a few words. I found the piece to be very powerful [and was very surprised to see it was - what? - your first draft?] Being from the USA, I also enjoyed the inclusion of your South African culture and lifestyle into the work. Good combination of sympathy, comedy and hard-hitting summation, Chanti. |

"At this point I became lost in thought and I thought about how love can transcend beyond the boundaries of ordinary verbal communication. How those in love can sense the feelings of their loved one and even feel their needs. This kind of closeness is enviable." These words sum up the essence of the story for me. A beautiful, soul-reaching love story expertly told. Thank you, dearest Chanti. Much love to you. Regis

This marvelous love story truly misted my eyes, Chanti - and as I read it, my thought was to leave a review saying that this would make a marvelous book - and I see you are way ahead of me.
Please keep us posted on your progress - true bonds like this are truly rare - and truly worth writing about. |

OMG chanti, this brought tears to my eyes too. True love is such a wonderful thing, I hope to experience one day. You did a very fine job of writing this from memory. And that matriarch elephant now roams with the soul of Ingrid on her back. And I bet to this day, if anyone were to approach this elephant in a non-aggressive manner, they would be met by a friend. Tell Vince he should name this matriarch Ingrid, to honor not only the ashes and the elephant, but Ingrid's soul too, cause she loved this particular matriarch. This is so touching, that I am still wiping the tears from my eyes. May the Lord be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & (((HUGS))), Barbie
