The Death of Dreams
A Good Thing?

It’s a good thing we defeated Nazis and the Communists, back in the last century. Can you image what it would be like today if they had won. We’d be living under a government that controlled every single aspect and facet of our daily lives. No doubt there would be satellites revolving around our planet reporting exactly where everyone is and what they are doing. They’d probably be cameras everywhere, watching us, to make sure we were following the rules and thinking the right way. Our schools would be forced to indoctrinate our children with the latest party whim. God would be deleted from our vocabulary, and sooner or later houses of worship would become party community centers. Then again, TV and the news media would be nothing more than propaganda machines, brain washing us every second of the day. Alas, by now they would have also conquered the rest of the world and America would just be a piece of geography on a map. Well, at least there wouldn’t be anything left to die for anymore. Then again, there wouldn’t be anything left worth living for either. So I guess it’s a good thing we won and are still one nation under God, and The Land of The Free. We did win, right???

Although i am not an american, I love this country and its people. I wish my country offered so many opportunites; and made so many inventions; which is rich in history. A great thought.

Good article, John.
The first time Nazis bucked up against the brainwashed of Islam willing to die for their heavenly virgins, there would have been a retreat of the goose-step. Let's hope we all don't end up slippin' and slidin' in camelcrap. Vigilance is the name of the game.
