There is nothing to fear when it comes to man. If we have strong faith in The Lord according to the Bible, our fears will go away.

Fear is the Opposite of Faith

King David once wrote...

“In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can
man do to me?”                  ( Psalm 56:11 )

A few thousand years we turn the page

Today we can say this timeless verse:

" The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do
 to me?"                       ( Hebrews 13:5-6 )

Therefore as a child of God we should not to fear another person,
  place or thing!

After all what is fear but the opposite of faith!

In Mathew to our Savior Jesus Christ who said;

"And lo, I am with  you always, even to the end of the age."
                                        ( Matthew 28:20 )

What more assurance do we need?

So true. I belive fear is the absence of God.
When were in fear we are not with God. When were with God were not in fear.

This is so true. I believe that so many people confuse uncertainty with fear. Fear is certainly the opposite of faith. Heart touching.

Domino, how beautifully stated. I love it.To fear is a lack of faith.

I also must tell you I was touched to hear you're opening intro. "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

Rational, versus irrational fear. Reasonable, versus what...unreasonable fear. In the right doses, at the right time, it can be a good thing, a life preserver of sorts. Good scriptural references to the subject. Thanks John!

Thank you for posting this beautiful work. If ever I needed to hear these words...it is now... For some reason, I have been "afraid" all my life...of silly things... heights, water, dark, men... and altho I never show that fear...I've prayed for years that the Lord would release me from this fear.... surely, it's a childhood thing...but I also know that I love God more than life itself...and I would not survive without His carrying me from one place to another... I even have a chapter on Fear in my book....because this is something that so many people carry with them most of their lives... Makes one wonder? I truly enjoy your work, but this one was great and hit home. thank you, Lindalaw
