When I get a phone call at night and have no idea who or why they call,I always wonder what they are up to? Maybe they want to learn where I live.Maybe they want to get rid of me because I am trying to fight drug pushing. There is a lot for me to think about looking closely in the shadows while I walk my dog Starter. But by damn, I will keep on my fight and my faith to do what I can in the cause.
Please help me to prevent drug abuse.
Everett Beal Rph.

FATAL ADDICTION IS REACHING OUT.

I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER. I HAVE SAID OVER AND OVER THAT I WROTE THIS BOOK TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DRUGS. I ALSO WROTE IT TO JOIN IN THE FIGHT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE ADDICTED.

Last night, just before Slumber Time I was awakened by the output of Bell South chimes.
"Hello sir, is this the Beal that wrote the book?
 Which book?
"That's okay, I must have the wrong number, I'm sorry."
Hold on, I am the author that wrote Fatal Addiction. Is that the one you are talking about?
" I wouldn't blame you if you hung up on me but can I ask you a few questions?"
 What is your name?
 "Uh, Jeff."
 And the last name?
"We won't worry about that now, I might tell you that later."
Makes no difference, what is your problem?
"Well sir, I have seen your books all over town but I haven't bought one. Everybody's talking about them. If I came home with it my wife and family would leave me."
That book might get you off of drugs if that's what is happening. I have had a number of folks tell me they wished a member of their family who overdosed could have read Fatal Addiction, they would be here today if they had.
Why don't you buy one and keep it in your truck ?
"I will tomorrow. I didn't take any tablets yesterday."
Okay, you are hooked on either OxyContin or Lortabs, right?
 "Yes sir, the Lortabs."
So, yesterday you did not take any? And how many did you take today?
"Three today. I think I will go home and tell my wife I am sick. I will have the shakes and I will stay in bed three days 'til I get over it. Mister I have a nice family, three children and a fine wife. She will leave me in a minute if she knew I am taking drugs again. I left them off for a year but now I am back on them."
In my book I tell how I hate pushers hooking folks like you. They ought to be strung up. They got you back started 'cause they knew you were easy picking. Isn't that easy money for them? "Yes sir, it sho' nuf is. Will you tell me what to do now? I know you want me to go cold turkey but I can't go to a detox center. My wife would find out and that would be the end. What should I do?"
It's gonna be the end one way or another if you don't stop now. One day you are going to forget you took a couple and so you think you need two more. From there either you get the stomach pumped out or no one finds you. Go to Personal Growth Center and look up Dr. Anderson. Explain to him your situation just like you told me. Do whatever he tells you and let me know if you get off of them. You have to help yourself. I am here to help you but not if you are lying to me. Don't call me any more unless you are off the drugs and I mean it. Your wife is not stupid, she will know soon if you keep hiding them.
Read my book and see the doctor, okay?
