Myrtle Castleberry clearly died of a heart attack, so why is homicide Detective Eve Chandler asking so many questions?
Myrtle Castleberry's red two-piece suit stood out like a messy catsup spill on the plush vanilla carpet. Her lined face and vacant eyes were frozen in agony. Pale fingers clutched the front of her jacket.
Detective Eve Chandler tore her gaze from the woman’s dead face and turned to the uniformed officer standing behind her. “Who’s been in this room besides us?”
