The Ravioli Monster is one of the poems in my new book: Miss Amy's Hurray for Rhyme it's Story Time, Collection #2 SNACK ATTACK!
You can see this illustration and others created step-by-step in the NEWS section at the bottom of the home page. Each day I will try to post a new image in mid production.
The Ravioli Monster
By Amy Sellers
Last Tuesday I walked down the block
to buy a stamp or two
I had to mail a letter
and I knew just what to do.
But as I reached the postage place
where Jenny takes my mail
I could hear a lot of growls
and a voice began to wail!
"I am the RAVIOLI MONSTER
and I've come to catch you ALL...
I'll tickle you in every spot
then chase you down the hall!"
So I grabbed the handle of the door
and flung it open wide
I had to save Miss Jenny
and the other folks inside.
Instead of finding her afraid
I found her safe and sound.
She was giggling at what she saw
and as I looked around...
A little boy with orange mittens
ran right up to me.
He also had a mask and cape
and said, "hey can't you see?!"
"I am the RAVIOLI MONSTER
and I've come to catch you ALL...
I'll tickle you in every spot
then chase you down the hall!"
The next time that I went to buy
a stamp or two for mail
I couldn't help but hope to hear
a growl and then a wail.
(based on a true story :-)

What a fun poem! I am so envious that you can both write and illustrate so well. The rhyming and the meter works really well.
