A story I heard at the Big Pig Jig

A friend of mine...told me this one
They grew up poor on a farm in south Georgia, but never knew it.
One day his daddy hired a field hand to plow with the mule, up to this point, It was a good mule, but the new field hand had a bad habit of stopping at the end of every other row and resting under the shade tree. Well, the mule being a mule, and a smart one, got used to his new handlers ways.
His daddy fired the sorry field hand. When he tried to plow his trusty mule again, the mule would now stop at the shade tree every other row, his daddy beat that poor mule, but he had to give up beating the mule because he got tired from all the extra work. Finally, he had to fire the mule too. He then sold the mule to a man who had cheated him in some way for a "too good to be true " price of three dollars, revenge takes on many forms.
With a nod to my bud who is a deputy sheriff in Dooly County, Georgia. Don't speed through there!!! Their cheapest speeding ticket is $250.00.
