Let's Take a Road Trip Across Country...

Sundance Road Trip

My polished saddle bags
are packed so tightly
as I rolled my fabrics
with gentle care;
Listening
to the whispery morning call
as rattle bones echo
through bridges fare…

I tied with horse knots
bound within
raw course twine
my leather strapping harness
you love...attaching securely
with skeletal keys I find…

I am revved upon hickory oaks
and hash pumps newly sown seed
as our adventurous desires journey
this road trip
across love’s fertile pastures
especially made
for you and me…

I got the hoof pick to dig out the dirt clods in the tread should we roll over something nasty and I packed a crock of Old Spice for our pulse points, I got the compass, do you have it, the doe?
