There are things in life that we are not meant to repair...
The closer he tried to get to her, the further away she seemed – an irony he was not able to understand. But, there were many facets of their relationship that confused him.
Since he was a child, he had developed a knack for fixing things. Those that knew him often joked that it was his calling in life. But no matter how hard he tried, there was one thing he was unable to repair. You see, no one had ever told him that people are “unfixable.” Or that in the process of trying – you may lose a piece of yourself.

| THIS IS SO TRUE...WHEN ONE TRIES TO REPAIR A RELATIONSHIP AND FAILS...THE BEST 'NEXT' THING TO DO IS; STEP OUT OF THE WAY COMPLETELY AND LET GOD FIX IT...IF GOD DOESN'T DO IT, THEN IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE. GREAT WRITE, WHICH WAS SO ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS |

I was never told that people weren't fixable either. Very insightful writing. Well done.

Dawn, again, a lot in a few words. I think the last sentence summed it up beautifully.

Interesting write that says so much about people, love and broken hearts that need to be mended but are not always that easy to mend.
