My five year old son Alex has begun telling stories so I wrote this one down for him.

Once there was a Pirate ship sailing the sea for adventure and gold. Then Mack the shark, who was a giant shark, came up under the boat. Mack chomped a hole in the middle of the ship, and slowly the boat sank. All the wood came off the Pirate ship and all the sails fell and broke into little pieces.

Then a rescue helicopter with three rotors on top came to help the pirates. Only one was saved because the rest were in the stomach of Mack.

Then a huge whale ate the shark and the rescue guys saved the other Pirates from inside Mack. Then after the Pirates were all better they got together and bought a new pirate ship at the pirate store.

The end. by Alex Ryan Potter age 5

Cute story with a happy ending. But they were pirates. Shouldn't they stay in the stomach of that shark so they don't go out and hijack anymore ships?

I'm envious; really! I only started writing about a year ago. Reading Alex's story reminds me of how much catch-up I have to do!
Lovely little story. Have you got him a PC yet? You have? Really? Brilliant.!
