I started walking faster to get away from being exposed. I saw a screen door leading to a small room. The room did not have a roof built on to it. The open shy and the sun shone into the room. At one point, I walked over to the screen door and looked through the screen. I saw her coming up the road and I withdrew to the darkest corner of my hiding space to avoid being seen by her. As I was hiding, I noticed that one of my eyelashes had gotten caught in the screen and this might give away my location.
The little girl came to the screen door and I realized that she could see through all the pretenses and camouflages that I had built and that she loved me as I am.
Suddenly, I could accept that I do not need to hide behind anything any longer. I am acceptable as I am. I got up out of the dark corner and came out from behind the screen door. I walked back out into nature. I noticed a tree beside the door. The tree did not yet have the spring growth and therefore it was easy to spot a small bird sitting there. The bird lovingly looked at me, smiled, and then flew away.
I woke from my dream.
