"I am happy to report that both Rheese and I are fully recovered from our bout with the swine flu: we are back to our normal selves again".

Wayne Wright updates us on his world since his last entry of over one month ago, when he and his son were sickened with swine flu.

Dear Journal~

I am happy to report that both Rheese and I are fully recovered from our bout with the swine flu:  we are back to our normal selves again.

For a while, I didn't think we were going to make it.  We both ended up in the hospital:  it (the flu) hit us like a ton of bricks.  I never want to go through something like that ever again!

Every day I feel stronger.  I still have to take it easy, and make sure we don't get around anyone who has the flu or else we could get it again, after all the trouble we went through trying to get over it.

Rheese and I have since gotten the H1N1 vaccine; we are now protected.  Can't take any chances, especially since my own health isn't that great.

Sarah, Promise, Xavi, Mwugu, Emily, and Brooklyn all had the flu, too, but they had a much milder case.  The kids are since back at school, and Sarah's since back to being a loving mother and homemaker.

I am back at work now:  everyone was really concerned about me.  I've also made it back to church several times.  I am not going to participate in the Harvest Festival, which is on Saturday:  you never know who might have the flu; don't want to chance it.

Well, I know this isn't much, but I have to get ready to go to work.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Wayne signing off!

Take care and God bless!

~Wayne.  :)

Happy report. Don't know what good a vaccine will do AFTER you contract the virus and it runs its course. Patrick

I AM NOT ABREAST AS TO WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING HERE, BUT I AM SURE GLAD TO HEAR ABOUT SOMEONE RECOVERY FROM ILLNESS. THAT SWINE FLUE IS ONE NASTY VIRUS AND I THINK EVERY FAMILY HAS AT LEAST ONE MEMBER WHO HAS HAD A TASTE OF IT, WHETHER MILD OR SEVERE. MY GREAT GRANDBABY AND GRAND DAUGHTER JUST GOT OVER A MILD CASE. IT DIDN'T REQUIRE HOSPITALIZATION, BUT IT DID KEEP THEM INDOORS AND 'UNDER THE WEATHER' FOR A FEW DAYS. THANKS FOR THIS NOTE WITH GOOD NEWS. BLESSINGS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
