Hey, y'all! Caz here! Hope this finds y'all well and happy; as for me, I'm doing pretty good. Can't complain (too much!).
I'm ready to ship my little sisters Rachel and Torrie to Siberia: Rachel continues to be a thorn in my side, and Torrie is still on her weight kick. I honestly think mom and dad don't see what she's doing to herself; they are in complete denial, and it's worrying me to death. Torrie's gotten awful' skinny; she's starting to look like a skeleton!
I'm just glad I have my best bud, Phaedra McEntire, to bounce off of: she's a great listener, and she understands about younger brothers or sisters, 'cause she has three little brothers who drive her crazy as well. I'm also glad I have my neighbor, Annie Morrison; she's another one I can easily talk to.
If I didn't have them (or my church family), I'd probably have gone crazy long ago!
Hallowe'en has come and passed for another year. *Sigh* Now we have Turkey Day and Christmas to look forward to. And the New Year, of course. *Another sigh* Where does all the time go? Seems like it was only yesterday when it was May; now it's November. Six months flying by, just like that.
For Hallowe'en, Phae and I dressed up as pencils for our school's costume contest. We didn't win, much to our disappointment. The kid who won was a fallen angel. *Boring* All he did was wear a white robe with wings and halo, and put dirt on it, so it looked like he fell down. Not much originality in that!! I was not happy! I thought Phae and I had a better shot at the prize ($100.00 cash)!
We went trick-and-treating that night, but the party broke up when one of the kids got sick in the azalea bushes. I think he was drunk; smelled alcohol on him; he smelled like an overripe brewery. It was nasty!! I didn't want to be hanging 'round him, so Phaedra and I ran home; we were home by eight. All we did then was watch "Nightmare on Elm Street" and pig out on junk food. LOL We then crashed by 11:30 and slept 'til noon the day after. LOLOLOL
Missed church, too. Didn't even go to church until that evening; the pastor was like, "Where were you this morning?" It was rather embarrassing! LOL
Today we made little gifts for the Veterans at the Veteran's Home; we will go there for Veteran's Day, to pay 'em a visit. We always do this. Then on the 16th, my mom, dad, and I will go to our local Golden Corral to help out with the Military Appreciation Night; all Golden Corrals are giving Veterans and active duty personnel free meals, as a way of thanking them for their service, which I think is a very nice gesture on their part. I will be rolling silverware while my parents wait on the customers. It should be a lot of fun!
Then a week later is Thanksgiving, and after we watch the parade, we will probably stuff ourselves until all we can do is lie around like fat slugs and wait for our food to digest! LOLOLOLOL
Well, I hate to run, but the bus will be coming in less than a half hour, so unless I want to miss it, I'd best go. I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Caz Tyndale saying so long! God bless!
~Love, your friend, Caz. :)
