Yes, I do have a funny bone...
I'm back at work and feeling great. I just read a delightful poem at Emile's site and thought I'd post a couple of my own enchanting musings. Actually, you will have to supply your own adjectives. My children say "Mom, they will put you away if you start talking like that in public" but what do they know? Yes, I'm being silly and no I'm not medicated. The sun is shining and I am happy to be alive so...here goes! Anothrer quote from my kids when I get in these moods (which I can't blame on menopause) "We're not laughing with you Mom, we are laughing AT you." Of course they don't mean it they just don't understand my humor. Giggles. Here we go...
That runaway tongue (I came up with this when I was 15)
If you have trouble holding you tongue...
I'll give you a glass jar to put it in.
And another... are you still here?
Listen to the moral of the man who drank
He woke up one morning with holes in his tank.
Okay, trackers, (my beloved trackers) and all my friends out there... tell me what you think!
Love to all,
Linda

Well this is great! and I think you give something for everyone to think about. I adore the picture and remember some days of my childhood as I love to swim and don't get enough of it this present day...wish for help and pray for guidance.
Thank you for letting me post a comment here as I have always liked poetry and I like to keep things SIMPLE! that way my brain doesn't hurt too bad. LOL
God Bless! |

Hey Linda if it makes you smile it is infectious and we don't need to always understand humor to laugh at it...often the humor is in the telling. Glad you are feeling better.
