For mature ladies who want to stand out from the crowd.

As if we hadn’t got enough to cope with? Why is it that our bodies suddenly start to change in fact in some cases with ‘gusto’ as we reach our forties?

It has something to do with the ‘MENOPAUSE’ which no woman can escape!
It used to be called the “Change,” but was not widely discussed. Generally, women just got on with it!   Now with so many media outlets, which include the internet, menopause is talked about in general terms, gone are the days when it was a hushed or whispered word, now it is a recognised symptom, or to be more precise a collection of symptoms, which the body has to adjust to whilst the hormonal changes take place. Therefore, you cannot categorise it as an illness, or indeed, treat it as such, how long it lasts, and at what age it starts, depends on the individual. Most women run to the doctors and get themselves on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) I have known several women, who contracted cancer as a result of the drug they were taking to control the menopause, from early forties to middle to late fifties. Look into what alternatives there are before making your mind up. I decided in my middle forties that under no circumstances would I take a pill that was chemically based.
Symptoms that you may get or maybe already experiencing
A.                 Hot flushes?
B.                 Putting on weight
C.                 Mood swings?
D.                 Vaginal dryness

About the Author:
Most of my childhood was spent away from school because  I was prone to infections which brought on the asthma attacks. These infections could linger up to six weeks sometimes more. Leaving me feeling extremely low and in need of building up!
Due to this my parents reached a decision to send me to a convent school thinking that the tranquil atmosphere would help. It did, to be honest I loved it and afterwards it lead me to college.
I never made it to University, not least because at the time my parents thought it best to stay near to home.
Time moves on and on reaching adulthood it was even more imperative for me to understand that staying healthy and strong was down to me.
How do you do this? Well, it started by finding out and eating the correct foods, drinking lots of water, exercising(that's a surprise) but it actually helped and most interesting was that I found, unless they were done on a daily basis, each time was like the first time and therefore there was no benefit.
Someone introduced me to relaxation and this was put into my daily routine
I have two healthy daughers' who showed no signs of asthma, but should they have children there is a likelihood that they may be prone to the disease.
Most of my working life was spent in the commercial world, but over the intervening years my fascination to stay healthy increased, particularly as you noticed how farming changed and therefore so did the food chain and the patterns of eating. It was time for me to share what I had researched for myself.
