I am writing this article in the hopes that all my friends will fully understand what drove me to such a dire mental state yesterday. I still need lots of prayer to emerge victorious in this aweful debacle. Much love and many thanks to all of my friends at Ad.

Last year I was removed from my teaching position due to racial discrimination. I filed a complaint with the EEOC. I was later forced to take a job very far from my home. Although I was not too keen about driving an hour, I decided that I would make the best of the situation. Much to my dismay, my new principal is a micro-manager. He had all of us working an extra 80 minutes a week outside the 40 hour work week. I must say he responded well when the union representative brought the matter to his attention. He quickly changed the schedule to what it should be. The union representative is working on other issues he is violating, I believe though he is a micro-manager he is a man with some degree of common sense.
On Friday I received a letter from EEOC, after reading the letter, thus began my episode with instant disgust which eventually led to my depression. The school district lied in order to cover their tracks. They boldly claimed that the reason I lost my position is because I am not competent. YEA! Right! I have been teaching 24 years and I am a native speaker of French. The other teacher has only been teaching for only three years, I have been in the district 18 years, she only 4. My students have won numerous awards. They claimed that the awards were won too many years back. Can you believe this nonsense. Meanwhile the other French teacher has not won one single competition. Furthermore, the same principal also removed two other black educators from their teaching positions. One of whom has also filed with the EEOC. This teacher is currently on medical leave due to the stress he was subjected to by this principal. I will be speaking to the union's lawyer to help me put together a letter of rebuttal. I really thought I had a good case until I got the disturbing news from the EEOC.
Please forgive me if I am being too negative with this situation, but I am requesting lots of prayers . Thank you all for listening and reading about my dilema.

| The only thing worse than somebody lying about you is if those lies are believed. I hope you persevere and come out of this smelling like that rose everyone is always talking about. |

It is not a wonder that you are stressed out regarding this situation, Nicole. I can empathize. I spent three years of very stressful times in a similar situation (false accusations) and I don't know where I'd be if it had not been for the union and their lawyers. It is sad but that's the way it is when one runs against the wrong people. I wish you all good things. Love, peace, and resolution,
