 SYNOPSIS:  comedy/romance

 JO-JO WALKER, thirty four-years-old, handsome, wealthy, and a vampire.  His affliction prevents him from the three things he desires most in life: to be human, to have a wife & family, and to see the sun rise.  Jo-Jo does not prey on human beings simply because it’s distasteful to him.  Rather, his man servant PERKINS, a British gentleman of high esteem, serves Jo-Jo from a local blood bank.  At times, Jo-Jo does venture out in the night to seek out prey, but it’s merely to keep up appearances.  And each and every time he comes upon a potential victim, so-to-speak, something always occurs to bungle the job.  In short, Jo-Jo Walker, a long-time member of Vampires At Large, is a very, very, inept vampire.

Perkins informs Jo-Jo of a well-kept secret:  It’s the cure that enables vampires to become human.  And this cure is well hidden in a tangled web of mysterious ancient clues, and comes at a price.  However, that price is exactly what Jo-Jo has longed for… a wife and family.  But he must have this family by his thirty-fifth birthday before he can actually take the cure, and take it during the early light of day.  This is a death-sentence for a vampire, and the leap of faith Jo-Jo must want to take.  But first he must find the cure, and, of course, the wife and family.  Therefore lies the dilemma, for his birthday is only four weeks away.

Jo-Jo meets the beautiful CINDY BECKER, and her twelve-year-old son SONNY who happens to be a fan of Dracula.  Cindy and Sonny help Jo-Jo and Perkins search for the cure but are totally unaware of what they’re actually searching for, or that Jo-Jo is a vampire.  Jo-Jo and Cindy fall in love and both are very happy, along with Sonny, until she discovers Jo-Jo’s real identity.  Not realizing that he is completely harmless, Cindy fears for Sonny’s safety and runs away from Jo-Jo.

DAMIEN WALKER, Jo-Jo’s older half brother, is a villainous vampire extraordinaire, who covets and desires all of his father’s inheritance that was left to Jo-Jo.  While living in a dark, damp cave, Damien discovers there may be a loophole in his father’s will.  And with the help of a devious attorney, Cindy’s ex-husband, Damien can take all of Jo-Jo’s immense wealth from him by simply preventing him from finding the cure.

Meanwhile, in a deep depression and longing for Cindy and Sonny to return to him, Jo-Jo refuses to feed and collapses into a coma-like state.  And all the while his birthday draws nearer and nearer, and the cure further and further away.  As he desperately struggles to bring Cindy and Sonny back into his life and find the cure to his happiness, Damien and his cunning attorney have discovered a way to not only steal all of Jo-Jo’s wealth, but take Sonny away from his mother.
