Hamas has every right not to recognize the zionist state

...

I must say I am disgusted with the way the democratically elected Palestinian administration is being treated by so called democratic nations in the west. Listening to them talk you would think Hamas were the occupying force, and not vice versa. Instead of helping the victim (which happen to be the Palestinian people who are suffering under cruel Zionist oppression as we speak) the western world’s intention is to help the aggressors in their belligerence and crimes against humanity. The so called democractic leaders have shown their true colors and are not in any way reliable. They talk of democracy and liberty but that's only for them, not for others.

My advice to Hamas: stick to your guns and do NOT comply with  these colonists' unfair demands. Under no circumstances shall you recognize the illegally settled zionist state until it pulls back to UN recognized borders and puts a stop to killing your sons and daughters. Before you consider them as brothers and neighbors as the Jews were regarded until 1948 before the zionist state was created by the western world, they first have to treat you as human beings. They have to realize that you are human and as human beings you have full human rights; right to life, right to your land, right to security, right to property and right to freedom and human dignity.

It is perfectly normal to want to be free. Those who tell you otherwise are only making fools of themselves. There isn’t a single nation on this planet that did not fight off thieves and criminals. What is morally unethical is to expect the victim to smile back at the oppressor. But that’s exactly what these western powers are coercing you to do. First they killed the Jews in Germany, planted what’s left of them in your land to clear their own conscience after they did what they did in Europe, and now their intention is to see you double-crossed and further humiliated. They did that to Yassir Arafat, and now it’s your turn.

Let them say what they will. You are NOT terrorists. You are freedom fighters. Your goal is to rid your homes and farms of foreign invasions and illegal settlements. Your aim is to breathe freely in your own living rooms without fear of target killings and missile strikes. The zionist state and her allies in crime they are the real Terrorists. God knows of your intentions. If the enemy come to their senses and they recognize their sins and crimes I know you’d honor your part of the deal. As it is, for as long as the Sharons, the Bushes,  the Blairs, and the warmongers of this world are in control, then you have full rights to use your own judgment of how best to deal with them. May God be with you.

I agree when talking about rights that Palestinians hold the rights (and many hold even the actual deeds) to their houses that the European Boat people occupied after terrorizing the homeowners into fleeing 60 years ago. I even met a man who showed me the key to his house that European immigrants are now occupying. The immigrants' taking of land and houses that do not belong to them is clearly theft. Zionists are indeed thieves.

Worse, the victims are often themselves former Hebrews who converted to either Christianity or Islaam, and are more Semitic than the European immigrants from the Nazi concentration camps. This type of anti-Semitism as practiced by Zionists is of the worse kind, because it is directed against their own who they deny because they will not accept their religious conversions. They have let the faults of the Nazis take revenge on themselves and now the Zionists are the Nazis. The resulting apartheid is unacceptable on any terms.

That said, Hamas has every right not to recognize the Zionists' state in Occupied Palesine just as every Native American has the same right not recognize the Yankee immigrants' United States in Occupied America. Knowing that these rights rest with indigenous peoples, however, will not change the fact that the invaders are there to stay. Native Americans will never see the Yanks go back to England, and Palestinians will never see the Boat People and their descendants go back to Europe. The Yanks and the Zionists have created powerful states with nuclear arsenals and strong banking systems to fund them. The Native Americans and Palestinians must both stop living in the past and accept that the wrongs they have suffered will never be righted in this life.

That said, there are many good people living amongst the Zionists, good Jews and others, who are appalled at the state terrorist actions of the rogue Zionist state carried out in their names. These refuseniks are standing up just as good people stood up to the apartheid government in South Africa. And therein lies the future of peace and hope - that good people will connect with one another and demand peace. They will demand that Zionist stop murdering Palestinians and stop treating them like non-citizens in their very own land. And Muslims must insure the rights of the Christians and Jews to their protection as directed by Islaam, and Muslims must know the difference between a Zionist and a Jew. Jews and Christians must reacquaint themselves with the Old and New Testaments and contemplate their writers' accounts of what God and the prophets exhorted them to do and not to do.

Not everyone will want peace and all three cousins of the Abrahamic faith are fully aware of Satan and his desire for enmity between the offspring of Adam & Eve. Christians and Muslims are awaiting the return of Jesus (pbuh) and Jews are still waiting for him. How embarassed we all will be on that day when he arrives and we sit together in the presence of God's Peacemaker.

Notwithstanding the much recycled half-truths, one-sided myopic citations, Hollywood stereotyping of Arabs and Muslims, and blank statements which are neither here nor there. One must give the reviewer a credit for citing internal bickering within Arabs and Muslims as another major contribute to the day’s status. This is a shame and any sane Muslim would put this degradation to present day Muslims’ shortsightedness and abandoned Islamic teachings… not forgetting off course, the constant meddling of foreign powers in people’s affairs, imported alien ideologies, the propping of greedy dictators by the powers that be, etc. Incidentally, and this is not confined to this person only, the very same devious imperialists that broke Saddam are the very same that created that gentleman

Since our reviewer is a government employee, perhaps he might have heard of that mysterious hand behind this planet’s manifold tragedies? Yes it is the not so innocent phrase: divide and rule…But you need to be a smart politician to better appreciate or even understand how world powers whose only aim is the-now-and-here make use of such crafty tactics and machinations to rule the roost. And they come in all colors, some are masters, others good students and blind followers, but they all have one thing in common. Their wish is to stay on top. And the rest of humanity at a corner where they can serve the selfish unending interests of the few above.

I am a mother my calling is to nurture, not to destroy. So this is something beyond my limited aspirations.

But that’s altogether a different story, however, since our poster is so drunk with present day western supremacy, and so zealously wishes the rest of humanity to bow down their heads to this armed misguided mortals. For fear of dampening his soaring spirits, let me tell him that a believer of the Almighty God bows only to God and none else. As sure as day follows night, Tomorrow shall follow Today. Suffice it to say Today wouldn’t exist had there not been a Yesterday, nor will Today freeze in Time. And if history is any lessen, civilizations do follow in the heels of one another as day is sure to follow the night. He is right to admit, Arabs and Muslims too did have their day until they messed up by forgetting Who truly was in control. It’s the Almighty who is the Supreme Lord; it’s only a sign of weakness on the part of mere mortals to imagine otherwise. The relics and remains of those who said: Look at Me I am God, are there for all to see. God tells humanity in His Last Message to go travel the earth and see the end of those who thought they were something.

Now about that tiny poor darling Israel...first there never has been such a thing as “Israel” until the incineration of European Jews at the hands of Christian Europe, that is not so long ago.
Yes the children of Israel did exist in history as a people, being offspring of the Prophet Ishaq, sprung of the sons of Ibrahim, same as their brothers were of Ismael. From them God chose prophets and messengers, but there were also the hardheaded ones who kept up the chronic habit of breaking God’s laws. Needless to say, the children of Ismail and the children of Ishaq are biologically closer to each other than the sons of Europe, and it’s them, the imported sons of Europe that are now calling the shots in the land of Palestine. In history God promised the holy lands only those who adhered to His law of the children of Ibrahim. But then again, not many people are reading that history. Instead they are wasting their time on man-made scripts; misguiding and putting the masses to sleep with their sweet talks and false promises.

As for poor tiny Israel living “in the midst of 300 million Arabs” that actually is a good question that needs to be asked…but it has to be addressed with scruples and honesty. But to give the reader a clue of how a Palestinian feels...how about exporting just a fraction of that 300 million Arabs to Europe and labeling them as...hummm...let's say...Arabistan...an Arabitan whose only pastime is to trample on the natives, killing them, walling them, persecuting them, banishing them and making them virtual refugees and captives in their own land: I just can’t help wondering how the maimed natives would feel or react in such a scenario? Smile and turn the other cheek?

As for poor “Israel” the real owners of the land are actually more than willing to accommodate them. All the natives are asking is to live their lives as free human beings, in peace and dignity, without being controlled from above, from below and from all sides. Is that too much to ask?

I invite you to consider the following:

Israel is a tiny country, with only six million inhabitants (a million of whom are Arabs). It is surrounded by 22 Arab countries, with 300 million people. Their combined land area is greater than that of all of Europe. Despite this disparity in size and population, Arab propaganda has convinced the world, even many well-meaning people in the United States, that Israel is the mighty Goliath compared to the puny Arab states. It is a supreme irony that six million Israelis, surrounded by implacable enemies who are fixated on their destruction, are considered a mortal danger to the Arabs and perhaps even to the peace of the world. And that if it were not for the Jews, were it not for Israel, peace would descend and terror would cease.

Israel, despite constant propaganda to the contrary, is not the “root cause” of this strife and turmoil in the Middle East. Violence and war are endemic in Arab society and in Arab history. Israel was not involved in the deaths of the millions who died in the Iraq-Iran war. Arab-Moslems killed over a million black Christians and animists in the Sudan and brought intolerable suffering to that impoverished region. The Sudanese government, dominated by Arab-Moslems, didn’t lift a finger to help its citizens. Israel is certainly not involved in that. The thousands whom Hafez Assad, the father of the current president of Syria, slaughtered in the city of Hama have no connection with Israel. Abdal Gamel Nasser, the self-appointed president of Egypt, mortal enemy of Israel and instigator of the Six-Day War, did not invade Yemen and gassed its people because of Israel. Saddam Hussein did not torture and kill tens of thousands of his own people and did not invade Kuwait because of Israel. The Lebanese did not stage their civil war and kill thousands of their own because of Israel. And there are many more examples of intra-Moslem or intra-Arab slaughter and mayhem. Israel was uninvolved in any of those. All of this would have taken place if Israel had never existed.

And how about terror? Again, many believe that Israel is the “root cause” of the terror that Arab-Moslems have visited and continue to visit upon the world. The attack on the United States on September 11, 2001, the destruction of the two U.S. embassies in West Africa, the bombing of trains in Spain, the murderous attacks on the London subway system, and so many other acts of cowardly terror would have taken place even if there were no Israel. And, many believe that if only the United States would withhold its support from Israel (and get out of Iraq), terror would cease and the world would no longer have to fear the scourge of suicide bombings, the devilish invention that Arab-Moslems have visited upon the people of the earth.

Many claim that Arab-Moslem terror is the result of despair, hopelessness, and poverty. But that is patently absurd. The Arabs are some of the richest people in the world, although, instead of using their enormous wealth to benefit their people, they squander it in bizarre luxury excesses for a privileged few. It is obvious nonsense that Arab-Moslem terror is the result of poverty. The nineteen hijackers were not poor or desperate. They were, without exception, well-educated people, members of upper-middle-class families. The leaders of such Arab-Moslem terror organizations as Hamas, Hezbollah or Islamic Jihad are educated people, from the upper reaches of their societies. And if hopelessness, deprivation of their “national rights,” and poverty would give rise to terror, how come that, even in the worst and most evil days of Jim Crow, American Negroes never engaged in systematic terror against their white fellow citizens? How come Tibetans don’t use terror against their Chinese overlords? How come the sub-Saharans of Sudan and other countries of Africa do not use terror against their Arab-Moslem oppressors? No, terror is the customary response of Arab-Moslems to express their grievances. It is a result of their culture and of their history. It has nothing to do with Israel and would not be any different if Israel had never existed.

The proclivity to war and to terror on the part of the Arab-Moslems has nothing or little to do with Israel. It is the result of their culture and of their history. It is a symptom of a crisis of identity and of confidence. For centuries, the historical Moslem empires of the Middle East were confident societies, which long led the despised Christian West in terms of science and economic well-being, as well as in military power. But then a lasting reversal and decline set in, in which the loss of Spain and the ascent of the West and its towering achievements in every human endeavor played a key role. This thirst for war against each other and against the hated infidels — foremost among them the Israelis — and the lust for terror will not end until Arab-Moslems come to terms with the West and accept its predominant role. But that may take a very long time – in fact, it may never happen. “… the lust for terror will not end until Arab-Moslems come to terms with the West and accept its predominant role.”

I wish I could take credit for this, but it is from an extremely logical, common-sense oriented website called "Facts and Logic About the Middle East." Makes sense, no?

Excellent article. The duplicity is, well.. shameful. Thanks for pointing it out. How we can preach to others about 'freedom and fair elections' when we have neither and offer no one else either unless it suits our purposes to do so, is beyond me. Withdrawing the aid (correction - asking them to repay our bribe money?) because we don't like the way the election turned out is nothing more than excercise in power.

You are right that Hamas has every right to refuse to recognize Israel. Hamas was duly elected by the people. Hamas must do what is best for their people. If it is ignoring Israel then that is their choice. If the world decides to ignore Hamas that is the world’s choice. A decision made and stood by is a following of the heart.

Sometimes a compromise is needed to live side by side. Not exactly trusting each other but not killing each other too.

I am a Native American. Our people live in American's borders in our sovereign nations. We govern ourselves, we have our own elections and choose our own leaders. Because of that we are still under the watch of the Government.

Our land was taken. Our religion trashed and our children punished or killed if they did not accept the new religion. However, we chose to keep our faith, teach it at home, if need be. Now one hundred twenty years after the killings at Wounded Knee we have won a great justice.

We have our own passports, we govern ourselves, we have won peaceably. It took a long time but we followed our religion to be fair even in the most unfair dealings and we have survived and have grown in number.

We have learned to live within the boundaries of another country and still thrive. It can be done without attacks killing our neighbors. We turned the other cheek. We survived.

What we had to do was make concessions. Lose more of our land than we ever wanted but we survived. Our survival shows the world it can be done. In 1993 the US laws have changed allowing us to teach our own languages in our schools. We have won.

Do not kill your neighbors even if they kill you. Compromise and eventually the world sees the truth...
