Linda, I cannot tell you how much i enjoyed reading and reviewing Ladies!
I have the review posted to AD, and am in process of emailing to Midwest Reviews, Jandy's Reading Room, Compulsive Reader, my own webmaster and BookLoreUK
Midwest posts once a month, and i'll let you know after July 1 if the review is posted, if so, as a rule, he does send a shorter blurb to Amazon as well
I will add a blurb to your Ladies book page on AD
I do not keep all the books I receive, Ladies is one, that were it paper, I would definitely be adding to my own book shelf.
I have added the caveat at the end of the review that the book will appeal especially to those in farming industry, my daddy, were he alive, would love this!
your memoir brought back sweet memories of farm sales, and auction barns and something always wanting repair etc, heh
today husband and i live on 10 acres, do not farm, but do encourage wild life, husband, an army brat just knew he wanted 100 acres on a dirt road, i, a farmer's daughter knew he did not, heh, these 10 acres are about as much as we can handle, he, nam vet with too many jumps from helicopter and me teaching school.
again, thank you for this opportunity to share your most readable book

I would just like to add that my book is not just for the farming fraternity as it is written from my point of view and I had no farming background at all when we came here (although Richard has been in agriculture all his life). Therefore it is my experience of learning on the job and explains in layman's terms the theories behind our venture and my descriptions are for people with no farming experience, but just a simple interest in country living. The people who have read and enjoyed my books come from many walks of life from farmers themselves who enjoyed my 'rookie' views on their life's work right up to and including senior executives in industries far removed from the countryside.
