This is an article on me by the Philippine Times, Melbourne based newspaper in Australia. I was very happy that they covered an article on me!
His novel about modern-day love, loyalty and friendships in a dark world is landing readers thrill and adventures. It also landed him a slot in an international bookfair.
Michael Estepa, creator of “Purged by Darkness”, recently attended the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany where he was invited as a featured author last October 15.
Estepa’s “Purged by Darkness”, a tale about six friends from Melbourne who found themselves enmeshed in an organized crime syndicate known as the Triad, is one of the highlights of his stint in the German book fest.
Now back in Australia, Estepa will be busy with more commitments, one of which is the Achievers Day on October 30, Friday, 10.00am to 12.00pm at the Whitlam Library in Cabramata. Deputy Mayor of Fairfield is also expected to attend this event. Estepa will be one of the four guest speakers.
The Filipino-Australian author, who admitted to having been involved in a few shady dealings in the past, is starting to truly make his mark—of the more socially acceptable kind—in Sydney after having been featured in The Philippine Community Herald for their September issue.
