This teaching unit is designed to accompany the e-book, Eric and the Enchanted Leaf: When Earth Grows Warmer. It may be used by teachers and parents working with children ages 3-8.

This integrated teaching unit may be downloaded and printed by teachers and parents. Pick and choose the activities best suited to your individual needs for Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Math. For a coloring page of one of the illustrations, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the author at

Both the unit and the coloring page may be reproduced and shared with other teachers and parents. Teachers may make class sets of the coloring page. The unit is designed for early childhood educators, parents and children in primary grades to extend the concepts of climate change in the story.
