Laura Simpson, my friend and fellow pet rescuer in New England, recently posted Shadow’s story on the Care2 Animal Welfare website. She has been following our efforts to save him from a life of loneliness and distrust. And she, like all animal advocates and rescuers today, believes that every abandoned, abused, and neglected animal deserves far better than mankind is now affording them.
