Reading someone’s work…I saw another person critiquing another person’s work…
My own tiddly bits...
One writes as they see fit and each person has their own opinion, although I do have to agree with the reviewer about reviews on AD. However, it is true our reviews are much to be desired upon joining I thought there would be pro reviews but I did not create the site nor start the first reviews. Taking it upon myself I share what I want and post what I want and more times than not am not persuaded by what others write. I know that it has been said that as writer’s or poets we should study other’s work…and that I have not and do not plan to! (If it is a crime then I am guilty…why would I want to patternize after someone else’s work/writings.)
Other’s works are enjoyable but in all that I do I have my own sense of style and as a child set out to achieve such. Futhermore, personally I do not like saving other’s work I believe each author‘s work is sacred. (These are just my own opinions, feelings, and emotions.) God inspires me to whatever greatness he sees fit. As for reviews I appreciate what reviews I receive let’s just let one think it is from someone’s heart/mind…or etc. Other’s opinions are valued as much as they value mine…their words are their own as mine or just that mine! Regardless of how much I give, or review another’s work it will not change their interest or lack there of in mine. Often times I have sat, and sat numerous hours to give clear, concise, and heartfelt reviews to many only to receive a word or two from them in my reviews (from them.) Each review is taken, and received or at least tried to receive in a positive manner, and I do not try to let anyone else’s responses, or characters dictate what I do, say, or write!
Usually I only post inspirational or love related work when I do post., why? I believe people have and can conjour up enough negative and or disgusting topics on their own w/o the help of me. Yes, I have strong feelings concerning issues and whoever reads me~may/should know by now and if not…well, there is nothing I can personally do about that. In my life whatever I do is my choice and I am not in competition with anyone anywhere unless it is a contest of which I am not engaged in at the present time.
Hmmmm, just thoughts up in the brain housing group at this time! Have a wonderful week!

Now this is written in a very clear conscise manner in which I, the reader gets a better understanding of you, the writer. I applaud your honest feelings. I believe, (this is my personal belief) that many aspiring writers in the den are encouraged by positive reviews. Each one I receive is taken most seriously as it can only help to enhance my abilities as a writer. Everyone of us has a reason for why we write what we do. It may not come to light for sometime but when it does you will see the writer blossom. Your works are most enjoyable and you know, I'm glad I stopped by to read Tiddly Bits as it makes one think. Thank you my friend.
Smiles,
Dorothy |

That's right, Who is perfect anyway! and you could be tired, if you miss a letter or two!
I think you spoke your heart well Gwend. Sweetie!
and you do your OWN thing (inspired by your inspirations) as we all will do our OWN thing, in our way!
Different strokes for different folks, I feel, and also- some days the moods are what helps us make a decision!
For me, taking negative comments, or constructive comments, help me to analyze my way of writing and thinking! I don't mind it, and Positive ofcourse lifts me to a stronger feeling to do better!
Write On!
Love and Many Hugs, Warrior Purple Lady SGOOX
STay Positive!
STay SAFE!
Thanks! for sharing your heart and soul Gwend, I love how you reveal yourself to us, who really care! Thank YOU! |

| Great write! Very good points. I loved it when you said "who is perfect, anyway?" None of us are perfect. Keep on writing, your work is appreciated. As for me, I take the positive and the negative comment. I learn from them both. You are so right, everyone of us has our own style of writing, that is what makes it so interesting. I love your style. This is a great article. Thanks for sharing. |

Nobody is perfect...and I believe each person see their own work as good....so why hurt any feelings by breaking their spirit with negative comments!!
I do like to put some humor to mine at times..but by now I guess my den family knows me better than I do myself!!
Thanks for sharing your point of view!!

| Much candor and expression of feelings are in this write! I think we all have our own style and message we want to share with others. Being on AD gives us that oportunity.. Opinions are opinions, thats all. Write on and share your thoughts and gifts with those who value them . .......M |

| Who is perfect anyway? Another guest speaker spoke these word to me yesterday. Why waste time worrying about what anyone thinks about what we think, write or do. Live your good life and enjoy the gifts from God. Keep writing. |
