It pains me to read that many Americans want to punish the Scots. We were also the victims of Pan Am. Abdul Baset Alial -Megrahi is on the point of death and about to enter Hell. That we can all agree.

The majority of Scots did not wish his release but granted his medical requirements as we had a duty to do under Human Rights.

In a few weeks time Abdul Baset Ali al Megrabi will be dead. But what we fail to understand is how you manage to have a long list on death rows in the USA. Europeans are against the death penalty.

When he dies, there will be celebration. We will NEVER forget those who lost their lives NOR those who still suffer today in their loss of a loved one. But please do not throw your anger against us. You are our friends.

I have visited your lovely country: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen,and Gretna Green, where I participated in a "mock wedding with the use of an anvil" which was a true depiction, I was told,of how people actually got married in the past(?)
I had a wonderful time; I know that the people are genuinely warm and friendly.I will visit again.
