The World première of Incubus, a contemporary musical composition by Peruvian composer Jimmy Lopez and performed by the Norwegian band Poing! based on my poem of the same name, took place at the Tampere Music festival Finland last Saturday night and was very well received. The level of technical excellence and musicianship was second to none, my heartfelt thanks & congratulations goes out to Jimmy, (Composer)  Rolf (Saxaphone), Hakon (Double Bass) & Frode (Accordian) for giving the Incubus a whole new dark and brooding form. My thanks also goes out to Minnakaisa Kuivalainen and the wonderful people of Tampere for their most generous and genial hospitality.

It was a night of firsts for me on so many levels, none more so than being presented with a flower when taking my bow(I've never been given flowers before...ever!). The whole piece is about 20 mins long...so I shall be posting highlights of the performance soon, once it has been edited properly.
