After getting many enquiries about Qigong I decided to write more about it as a supplement for my short story titled: 'No title yet'

I wrote in my short story 'No title yet':" that I found myself physcially weak and mentally desperate after so much fighting. I looked for anything that would help me, to the point I started looking into alternative medicines and methods of rehabilitation. Someone once told me about a method called Chi Kung, so in desperation I attended classes once a week."

So, as you can see I had two main goals. One was to improve my energy level, and the second was to improve my 'focusing ability'.

By exercising Chi Kung I can improve my energy level.
As far as I understand, Chi, in English means energy. Energy in the body flows through channels, called meridians. The blood flows through our veins, and our 'Chi' flows through meridians.
Generally speaking Chi is vital-energy that flows through all things in the universe.

The average person nowadays do not know much about 'energy'. Even those with some type of higher education degree know just a little about 'energy'. In popular science the most famous example about energy is Einstein's famous equation, that tells us about energy. It says that all particle in the universe is energy, and energy can become particle and particle can become energy, through a given law.

Back to Chi Kung, as far as I understand when the Chi [energy] is blocked, then the Chi [energy] cannot flow through the body, and most of the body parts don't get the needed Chi [energy]. The little movements of Chi Kung removes blocks, and increase the flow of energy throughout the body.

So, by exercising Chi Kung I can improve my energy level.

As I said earlier, my second goal was improving my 'focusing ability'. I assumed that I am mentally desperate because I can not accomplishing what I need for my kids and for myself. So I thought in order to improve the possibility to achieve success for accomplishing the things that I desperately needed for my kids and for myself, I need to improve my 'focusing ability'.

I had a strong feeling that I need to improve my ability 'to connect' between the many scattered things and events that I need to connect. I learned that in order to learn how to 'connect the dots', I need to sharpen my awareness. I read, that by doing subtle movements I can improve my awareness. It has explained to me also that by doing less we are able to notice more. By doing those little movements of Chi Kung, my awareness improved.

I also learned that there are 3 major types of Chi Kung that has been teached in the western world.
Chi Kung for healing, Chi Kung for fighting and Chi Kung for creating white light... for healing purposes.

White light created by a healer... who is going to heal another person.

Chi Kung for healing purposes has been done by the person himself who wants to be healed or remain healthy and young.

As I wrote above... I am doing the Chi Kung for healing myself ...

Also I wanted to add that a specific set of Chi Kung exercises are used as a foundation for Tai Chi.
