The rides.

   Jerry, couldn't figure out how his brother, Tom could keep his, four boys so well behaved and polite, without spanking or any kind of hitting. They had discussed this topic many times, and, and all Tom would tell him'; was that they went for a ride in his car, and worked it out. 

 

 Jerry, who was having little success, with his own 3 boys, had to get to the bottom of this mystery. 

 

He went to Tom's house one afternoon, knowing, Tom was playing 18 holes with their friend Art. The boys were happy to see their uncle, and gathered round him. All right guys, I want to know about these rides you take with your father.  They all gave him an "I don't know what your talking about", look, and no one said a word.  Come on, you can tell uncle Jerry. The oldest, James, spoke out: Dad, told us , that those times were between Him and us, and that we were never to tell a soul, about them. So please uncle Tom, don’t ask us any more about it. Please. we can't tell. We promised! After a little wrestling and kidding around with his nephews, Jerry, left.

Damn, he thought, I know , I'll put a bug in his car!  But how will, I know when he's taking THOSE rides? hhmmmm. Well I could put a camera in that tree and see when he gets in the car with one of the kids.

Jerry, as you might have guessed is into hi-tech electronics and such. 

 No  I'll put both audio and video , with several hours record time, and a voice activated start switch. in his car. That aughtta do it.

So, after surreptitiously, getting the bugs in place in Tom's car, Jerry waited impatiently for a week to go by.

  He found Tom's car at the golf course the following Saturday, as Tom and Art, always played on Saturday morning, weather, permitting.
He took the tapes out and went home to review them, and hopefully solve the mystery.
After hours, of nothing, but mundane, everyday use ,of the car ;
