I've heard many whites refer to themselves as Christian and Conservative. What does this really mean? Why can't you just be a "Christian" without any attachments?
On one of my blogs (babyboomerbev) I had a reader give me her opinion about Barack Obama saying she was Christian and conservative and that she didn't share his views. I'm not sure what the two statements had to do with each other but I was curious about the "Christian and conservative" part.
I've heard many whites refer to themselves as Christian and Conservative. What does this really mean? Why can't you just be a "Christian" without any attachments? Was Jesus a conservative? If so, please tell me in what ways because I must've missed some scriptures during my Bible study.
I always thought "Christian and Conservative" was a code meaning for something else. Why don't Blacks, Asians or Latinos call themselves "Christian and Conservative?" Is it because all of them are bleeding heart liberals? And if that's what you think, how do you draw that conclusion?

| There are those who never, ever mention the liar and the adulterer. Has God no wrath where these 2 bad guys are concerned? I must've missed something in Scripture too. I get quite tired of people singling out only 2 or 3 kinds of sinners. Do they approve of the rest of the sinners? Jesus, be sure, was anything but conservative in His time! |
