IMAGINE USING YOUR IMAGINATION!
Ever wonder when it was that you stopped using your imagination?
Ever wonder when it was that you stopped believing?
Close your eyes and try to remember way back a long time ago, probably more years than you care to admit that believing in something was a huge part of who you were. You believed in Santa Claus and you believed in the Easter Bunny and you truly believed Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were alive and well in Hollywood. You believed everything your mom and dad told you, in fact, you didn’t even care if what they told you sounded kind of ridiculous, because the sheer joy of believing kept you young, happy and innocent! Imagination and believing without proof was truly a gift that we let slip out of our lives.
As for me I am one of the lucky ones, I found my imagination lurking around in the corners of my brain. All it really wanted was for me to let it loose, so I unchained it from my adult brain and herewith I share with you, excerpts from my recently released book, The Gift Keepers. Join Jessie and Rebecca and their adventures with their new Angel friend, Michelina. May you too unchain your imagination.

Chapter 6
Michelina
They looked at her in disbelief. “Fly? People can’t fly; we don’t have wings. We’ve learned how to paddle our feet to get around, and it works pretty good too. Right, Rebecca?”
Before Rebecca had a chance to agree with her cousin, the angel told them, “All it takes is faith and a little help from above.”
They watched in silent amazement as their bodies changed from human to angel. Their eyes told the teacher they were ready and “poof!” very much like the story of Peter Pan and Wendy, they were gone. They looked back and saw Jessie’s bedroom floating like the remnants of an abandoned ship left at sea, drifting further and further away. The cherubs found themselves in the giant vastness of the sky with their angelic instructor leading them through the twinkling stars and glowing planets. They were able to see everything.
Jessie pointed. “Look, Rebecca! Look! We can see right inside our houses.” It reminded Jessie of looking into her doll house and seeing all the rooms and all of her dolls from the top. They saw that they were all safely sleeping, and that made them happy.
“Hey, Rebecca, look! I see us; we’re still down there sleepin’! See us? I told you this was just a dream!”
Rebecca glanced down, and there they were sound asleep in their sleeping bags.
‘Hey! What’s going on? How can that be? We’re up here with you, right Michelina? Were not just dreaming are we?”
How could Michelina explain….? “I know it seems that way. I assure you that this experience is truly happening to you! You see little ones; this journey does not involve your earthly bodies. All you need for this trip is a trusting and believing heart. Your bodies will remain quiet and comfortably sleeping until we return.”
I HOPE YOU AGREE:
“ALL WE WILL EVER NEED IS A TRUSTING AND BELIEVING HEART!”
