Watchdog

There are no enemies, there is only ignorance.

Learn who you are and you will cease being the enemy.

As we learn who we are the world will heal. However, learning who we are is easier said than done because the force applied against achieving it is the totality of our denials acting as a single watchdog.
Each and every human being who does not know who they are is utterly subservient to this overwhelming force whose power is such that we have no awareness that it even exists. Its life is the power we deny and its fuel is our continuing ignorance. Whereas we are many our watchdog is one, therein lies its power to control. Should we learn who we are our watchdog will begin to lose power and die; the death of ignorance. In the meantime it hides securely within our minds where we are least likely to look for it. It manipulates the protection of ignorance from its center of power within each and every mind and it is as ferocious as it can be subtle... it holds all the cards. Before this force can relinquish its power we must accept our position as its owner and creator. We must take responsibility for its existence and teach it who we are so that it will know that we are one and the same. But, first we must accept its existence, this is the key. This powerful entity is our self imposed antidote and it is our business to figure it out.

Thank you for sharing this philosophical perspective, Tom. You make some thought-deserving points. Love and peace to you,

Very good point. It's strange though, that so many people really think they know themselves, when they are not even conscious to begin with. when I was younger I thought everyone knew who they are, that I was just an oddity who was "fractured" and didn't have a good hold of my own self . . . I soon realised that I was probably already ahead of them because I was always concerned with issues of identity and so forth; however, as creative artists, we do tend to have more "selves" then most people, but I still think it's important to be aware of this.
